If you are serious about taking your affiliate earnings to the next level and don't already have an audience or a following on social media or youtube then I urge you to think about building one.

There are many different platforms out there as you are already aware, too many if anything!

The challenge can actually be deciding which platform to spend your time on!

The good news is that there is an abundance of people waiting to hear from you, all you have to do is show up and capture their attention!

I am sure you are familiar with most of the social media platforms, but here are some things to consider.

Are you a visual creator? consider instagram or tiktok. (Facebook is good for connecting with friends, but it's organic reach is getting less and less every day)

Prefer longer videos? of course youtube is the place for you!

Outside of those main platforms you can also consider writing a blog if you are a bit more introverted than the average tiktok'er.. but blogging can take time to see rewards.

For short term success I would consider instagram, tikok and facebook.

Consider also if you should create new accounts on these platforms,.. or will you mix it in with your personal profiles?

Your friends and family don't want to be spammed every day about your side hustle... and the algorithm will be confused if you are going to post conflicting content on insta and tiktok.

I feel it is best to create new accounts on insta or tiktok for this and post only occasionally on your old facebook profile if you wish to.
